Asst Chair/Artist-Teacher, Dance (Modern)

The ideal candidate: Will have an accomplished aptitude as a performer in Modern Dance that is able to compete/perform on an international level. Will have the ability to serve as the ambassador of dance to promote dance education to elementary, middle and high school aged students across Louisiana with the potential to expand nationally. Will deliver and/or oversee classroom instruction, including, the preparatory programs offered in dance. Will have the potential to transcend current program to one of national prominence. Will have the ability to partner with students and parents of all social, cultural and economic backgrounds to successfully meet or exceed program objectives. Will have an innovative, creative spirit that’s willing to go the extra mile. Will buy into and fully support NOCCA’s vision of becoming the premier conservatory for high school students in the country.
