Classical Instrumental Division Offers Rigorous Preparatory Programs In Piano & Violin

Building upon its successful outreach, The Classical Instrumental Division of New Orleans Center for Creative Arts|Riverfront Music Department again offers a special preparatory program in piano or violin for young talented musicians.

Young students (piano: current K-3rd graders; violin: current 1st-5th graders) are invited to audition for the 2008-09 preparatory programs by mailing in an application by April 1. Applications may be found at www.nocca.com or can be requested by calling 504.940.2787. All students will be screened via an audition by the end of May.

Accepted students will be invited to attend Saturday and afterschool conservatory training at NOCCA|Riverfront during the 2008-09 school year.
