Full-Day Media Arts Student From Hammond Wins Music Video Award

NOCCA is proud to share the news that one of its Academic Studio and Level III Media Arts students, Peighton Tubre won the “Best Music Video” category in the American Youth Film Festival.
The American Youth Film Festival awarded the work of several aspiring artists in 22 different categories. The Festival was open to all youth, incorporating filmmakers from high school to college.
Tubre’s winning music video for the song “Shannon” by Henry Gross, features Academic Studio and Musical Theater Level III student, Abby Berger. The film tells the story about a girl who loses her dog in a flood.
Tubre said, “I dedicate the music video to all who lost pets due to Hurricane Katrina, or recent flooding.”
