Vocal MusicDepartment: VocalEmail: gcuadrado@nocca.com Gloria Cuadrado received her Bachelors Degree in Vocal Music Education from Loyola University in New Orleans and her Masters Degree in Piano Performance from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green where she studied with Argentinean concert pianist Sylvia Kersenbaum. Mrs.Cuadrado has taught General Music, Chorus, and Drama in New Orleans area schools for over 25 years, and is currently teaching 1st through 8th grade General Music and Chorus at Kehoe-France School in Metairie. She is a member of the American Choral Directors Association, the Music Educators National Conference, and the Choristers Guild and has accompanied and served as vocal director for over 40 musical theater and opera productions in New Orleans, Slidell, and Bowling Green, KY. She has been the organist/choir director at Old Metairie Protestant Church for 30 years as well as the organist/choir director at Metairie Ridge Presbyterian Church for the past 18 years. Mrs. Cuadrado has been an accompanist and vocal coach for NOCCA’s Saturday Vocal Workshop and summer sessions since the Fall of 2003 and will currently be accompanying the new NOCCA Regional Chorus. |
