Lara Naughton

Creative Writing: Chair, Non-Fiction

Receiving her B.A. from University of Notre Dame and M.P.W. from the University of Southern California, Lara Naughton has written and produced stage plays, and published poetry, fiction and nonfiction.  She has taught creative writing and multidisciplinary workshops to writers of all ages across the country and in southern Africa.  She currently leads a writing group for prison exonerees and is collaborating with a professional dance company to create text/movement performances.  Her new documentary one-man play will premiere at NOCCA in October 2010 and will begin a national collegiate tour in January 2011.
