“FAUBOURG’S FAVORITES”
November 18, 2010 7:30 p.m.
St. Louis Cathedral
A Concert Benefitting COATS FOR KIDS
featuring
THE FAUBOURG QUARTET and special guest JEREMY DAVENPORT
As part of their 2010-2011 season, the Faubourg Quartet presents a collection of its members’ most beloved favorites, a fun and eclectic mix of varied genres, including tango, blues, jazz (composition by New Orleans native son, Wynton Marsalis), as well as some of the most beautiful works of Schumann, Mendelssohn, and Dvorak. And as a special treat, you will not want to miss Jeremy Davenport, as he joins the Faubourg Quartet in their finale, Louis Armstrong’s “What a Wonderful World.”
And be welcomed outside the venue by performing students from the Classical Instrumental Department of the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA). Show support for New Orleans youth by coming early to hear this talented group perform!
Admission is free. But please consider bringing one clean coat to benefit COATS FOR KIDS. Monetary donations are also welcome and much appreciated.
**The Faubourg Quartet would like to thank St. Louis Cathedral for their generous support in hosting this event.**
