Internationally Recognized Arts Conservatory Providing Masterclasses For NOCCA Students NOCCA Celebrates Juilliard Day With Visiting Artists
New Orleans Center for Creative Arts is proud to announce the prestigious arts conservatory, The Juilliard School, will be providing masterclasses and outreach to current NOCCA students. Juilliard students specializing in dance; drama; classical instrumental, jazz and vocal music will be assisting with NOCCA instruction Monday-February 28 as NOCCA celebrates Juilliard Day.
The Juilliard School is continuing its efforts with the rebuilding and education of the youth of New Orleans with this yearly coordinate visit. Now at the start of its second century, The Juilliard School has set this country’s standard for education in the performing arts since its 1905 founding. Juilliard’s student body is drawn from 47 states and represented by 50 foreign countries, its alumni among the best known and respected artists worldwide. The School continues to grow with and respond to the needs of a thriving cultural community in the U.S. and abroad.
