New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA, 2800 Chartres Street, New Orleans-70117) invites the community to a free concert as the Jazz Division showcases the NOCCA Jazz Big Band on
Wednesday, April 7, 7 PM in the Ellis Marsalis Jazz Studio.
The concert will feature the next generation of Louisiana jazz legends performing arrangements of famous jazz tunes by such noted artists as Duke Ellington, Charlie Parker and Miles Davis. NOCCA invites the public to enjoy this free concert on its campus located in the Historic Marigny District of New Orleans at the corner of Charters and Press Streets.
Under the direction of NOCCA Jazz Instructor and Artist-Teacher Michael Rihner, the NOCCA Jazz Big Band includes:
