Community Drama Production Spoken Word Showcased at NOCCA

NOCCA Presents Original Production by Westbank Students
New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA) proudly invites the public to enjoy an original production Spoken Word at NOCCA’s campus (2800 Chartres Street, New Orleans-70117), August 5-6, 7 PM. This play is free and open to the public.
Written and directed by recent Karr High graduate Edward Buckles, Jr., Spoken Word is a play about teenagers who have a love and passion for poetry. The story centers on the characters trials, tribulations and joys when faced with obstacles that come into their young lives. The teen actors convey a mixture of emotions, through poetry and narration.
