New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA) is honored to have two prestigious post-secondary dance organizations host their auditions at NOCCA in January. Students from across the south are encouraged to take part in these open auditions. Auditions will take place at NOCCA, 2800 Chartres Street, New Orleans-70117.

Broadway Theatre Project, www.broadwaytheatreproject.com auditioning (open call) for their three week summer intensive in dance, acting, and voice with prominent Broadway and film professionals. Students currently in grades 9-12 are eligible to audition. Audition fees may apply, please contact for more information.
University of North Carolina School of the Arts, www.uncsa.edu auditioning (open call) for their high school and college programs. Students currently in grades 8-12 are eligible to audition. Audition fees may apply, please contact for more information.
“NOCCA continues to set the artistic standards for arts education and we are very excited about the relationships we are building with companies, festivals and intensive programs,” stated Dance Department Chair & Theatre Arts Assistant Chair: Musical Theatre Division Blake Coheley. “The fact that these programs are actively recruiting NOCCA students here in New Orleans says a lot about the training we do on a day-to-day basis.”
NOCCA offers tuition-free intensive arts training in Creative Writing, Culinary Arts, Dance, Media Arts, Classical Instrumental Music, Jazz, Vocal, Drama, Musical Theatre, Theatre Design and Visual Arts to Louisiana upper-middle and high school students during ½ day, afterschool and Summer Conservatory attendance options. NOCCA will also offer an Open Studio Day (Open House) on Saturday, January 16 to give potential students the chance to visit NOCCA before applying by March 5.
