Twenty-Six Students Take Part In Coordinated NOCCA Field Trip To Attend The National Unified Auditions Providing College Opportunities
Twenty-six young artists from NOCCA braved the cold and snow as they traveled to Chicago as part of the annual NOCCA Theatre Arts Field Trip to the National Unified Auditions. NOCCA and The NOCCA Institute have supported this incredible opportunity for several years because student-participants are able to audition for the best arts conservatories in the country while staying in one central location. The trip provides many students the only chance they have to travel outside of Louisiana to audition for post-secondary arts training. Some students were able to audition for as many as 15 schools.
All students were able to benefit from faculty supported pre-audition sessions with warm-ups and vocal/diction exercises to help them prepare for the numerous auditions available.
