Monday evening’s recital by Phyllis Treigle was attended by a small, but eager crowd in the Dixon Hall Annex Recital Hall at Tulane University. Treigle, who started her opera career in the shadow of her renowned father, basso Norman Treigle, has proven herself in her own right. Sadly, performances are few and far between these days as she has concentrated on teaching voice in recent years as part of the Newcomb Music Department faculty.
