While in town for a live broadcast of “Cooking with Emeril” celebrating Emeril’s Carnivale du Vin, I had the opportunity to visit three of the sites that benefit from the support of the Emeril Lagasse Foundation. First I shared my pictures from the Edible Schoolyard, then Liberty’s Kitchen, and now you can see NOCCA, The New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts, where Emeril is helping to develop a culinary arts program that will be free for students from all over Louisiana. See what is happening at this innovative school, and maybe the creative way that Emeril and the students teamed up to raise $50,000 last month will inspire you to add to their totals.
