NOCCA Drama students took part in this year’s Paul Robeson Acting Competition which asked participants to create an original 5 minute monologue demonstrating the life of their favorite African-American. Students dressed the part and performed in front of a live audience at the New Orleans Public Library Main Branch.

Winning students included:
Annie Jefferson (11th Grade, Ben Franklin, New Orleans-79128) First Place
Niara Woods (11th Grade, Xavier Prep, New Orleans-70128) Third Place
