NOCCA Student Exhibit Opening Nov. 5 at Isaac Delgado Fine Arts Gallery
“Forerunners: Work By Current NOCCA Student-Artists” opens November 5 at the Isaac Delgado Fine Arts Gallery on the Delgado Community College City Park Campus.
The exhibit will be on view November 5 – December 3. A reception in the gallery is scheduled on Thursday, November 5, 5 – 7 p.m.
“Forerunners: Work By Current NOCCA Student-Artists” highlights the work of the visual arts students at New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA). The exhibit will include selections from the annual NOCCA student-curated end of the year exhibition this past May, students’ summer independent study, as well as a few of the first artworks that young artists have completed this school year.
“The Isaac Delgado Fine Arts Gallery is highlighting the work of these talented NOCCA students, and we hope to work with other talented high school art programs in the future,” said Brenda Hanegan, gallery director.
The Isaac Delgado Fine Arts Gallery is located at 615 City Park Avenue in New Orleans, Building 1, third floor. Gallery hours are Monday – Tuesday, 9 a.m. – 8 p.m., Wednesday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. The public is welcome and there is no admission charge.
