Karl CondonChair of Dance: Ballet Dance
In his second year as the Chair of the NOCCA Dance Department, Mr. Condon began his career dancing professionally in Boston Ballet for 13 years where he ended his performing career as a Principal Dancer. His notable roles were, leads in Balanchine’s Theme and Variations, Lander’s Etudes, Puck in Bruce Well’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Romeo in Choo San Goh’s Romeo and Juliet which he performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C.
Karl spent the next 18 years of his career as a Ballet Master and then Associate Artistic Director of Ballet Memphis in Memphis, TN, where he coached and restaged works by such renowned choreographers as Trey McIntyre, Mark Godden, Robert Battle and Julia Adam.
He is looking forward to continuing and furthering the conservatory atmosphere and professional level training for his young student dancers.
