As part of the NOCCA gallery series, NOCCA Visual Arts Alum Julia Taylor has curated the invitational exhibit, Between Stitches, which has brought together the highest level of three-dimensional artists who specialize in textile, weaving and sewing. Honoring the process within the craftsmanship, artists selected have transformed the tradition of the craft to artform.
The public is invited to view Between Stitches, March 5-April 7, Monday-Friday, 9 AM-NOON, Saturday, NOON-4 PM at NOCCA in the Kirschman ArtSpace. Also, please meet curator Julia Taylor and artists at a gallery reception planned for Thursday, March 8, 6-8 PM.

NOCCA Visual Arts Julia Taylor works as an artist in New Orleans and is currently writing a book of poetry and leads a community writer’s workshop.
