A young girl’s parents get the neighbor next door to babysit, but fail to realize that he is, in fact, an ogre. To make matters worse, the child’s father has stolen a red rose from the ogre’s garden. Over the course of the night, as the ogre reads to the girl, his fantastical tales of love and transformation spring to life in this theatrical adaptation of several lesser-known fairy tales.
