Greek & Eastern Mediterranean Musical Traditions Masterclass For Academic Studio
On November 13, NOCCA Academic Studio is proud to welcome artist Kyriakos Kalaitzidis as he presents a special masterclass to our academic students, A Sea of Sounds: A Voyage through Greek & Eastern Mediterranean Musical Traditions. This educational opportunity is underwritten and supported by Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral of New Orleans.
The performance will musically educate students as well as provide a history component as the presentation is based on Marco Polo’s journeys. Students will also have the opportunity to dialogue with the artist about his background and experiences.
