NOCCA Visual Art Students Receive Recognition In Rau for Art Scholarship Contest
NOCCA Visual Arts students received recognition from The Rau for Art Foundation in their annual Rau For Art (RFA) Scholarship Competition.
Students honored include:
Ashley Stelly, Third Place, $1,500 Winner, (Paradis-70080, Hahnville High)
Ian Growden, Honorable Mention, (Kenner-70065, Lutheran High)
Brianna Despenza, Honorable Mention (New Orleans-70114, Karr)
Artwork was selected by a panel of judges that evaluated all works submitted equally, on the basis of quality, originality, and creativity in their work. This year’s theme was “New Orleans Cuisine, From Producer To Plate.”
