NEW ORLEANS FILMMAKERS WIN BIG AT SUNDANCE!
A New Orleans team of filmmakers won the Grand Jury Prize for Best Non-Fiction Short Film at the recent Sundance Film Festival for their film “Alone,” which premiered on opening night of the festival.
The film was directed by Garrett Bradley and produced by Lauren Domino, with cinematography by NOCCA Alum Zac Manuel and editing by Dani Leal. The short looks at mass incarceration and its shaping of the modern black American family as seen through the eyes of a single mother in New Orleans.
