2017 GRAMMY in the Schools | Media Team
Only Student From Louisiana Selected | Two Students Selected Nationwide
Kyron Neveaux., New Orleans, NOCCA Media Arts, 12th Grade NOCCA Academic Studio
Louisiana’s arts conservatory NOCCA is proud to share the news that local 12th grade NOCCA Media Arts and Academic Studio student Kyron Neveaux was selected by the prestigious GRAMMY Foundation® as one of two students to serve as special members of the GRAMMY in the Schools® Media Team. Kyron will travel, all expenses paid, to Los Angeles to document the GRAMMY® Week experience for the GRAMMY Foundation’s social media platforms.
Kyron, representing the only student selected from Louisiana, will take part in a two weeklong media adventure. His selection launches him into the spotlight surrounding the annual GRAMMY Awards®, and provides him with unparalleled opportunities to interview and document the experience and some of music’s biggest names.
“I have always wanted to go to an award show because I am interested in working in live broadcasting,” Kyron said. “I am very excited for this learning experience, that will hopefully allow me to continue to work with the Grammy Foundation in the future.”
