Academic Studio | Creative Writing Student National Merit Scholarship Semifinalist
Louisiana’s arts conservatory NOCCA is proud to share the news that full-day Academic Studio | Creative Writing Student from Slidell, Mirabella Miller is a semifinalist for the National Merit Scholarship. Mirabella is one of 16,000 semifinalists from across the nation who have the opportunity to continue in the competition for the National Merit Scholarship.
The National Merit Scholarship Program is an academic competition for recognition and scholarships that began in 1955. High school students enter the National Merit Program by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®)—which serves as an initial screen of approximately 1.6 million entrants each year—and by meeting published program entry and participation requirements.
