NOCCA | Hammond High Visual Arts Student Wins “Cook-Off For The Coast” Art Competition
NOCCA is proud to announce that NOCCA Visual Arts student Khalil McKnight has been selected as the winner of the art competition with the annual “Cook-off for the Coast” event taking place this week.
An event coordinated by St. Bernard Parish and several partners, “The Cook-off for the Coast” celebrates the bounty of Southeast Louisiana and raises awareness about coastal restoration. This year it is virtual celebrating the food, music and art.
Khalil took part in the art competition coordinated and won first place/grand prize for artwork submitted. As part of the recognition, Khalil was awarded $250.00. To view more of Khalil’s work visit instagram, apollo.avenue_ .
