Classical Instrumental Recognized By LPO

Louisiana’s arts conservatory NOCCA is proud to share the news that current Classical Instrumental student Sophia Vu (violin) was recognized in the annual LPO Young Artists’ Concerto Competition as one of this year’s winners in the high school division. Kate Guidroz (euphonium) was selected as the Runner Up in the high school division. Brett Massimi (violin) was selected as the Runner Up in the K-8 division.
As a winning recognized student, Sophia will perform the 3rd movement of Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto as a soloist with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra in January, 2024.
