NOCCA Vocal Music Students Compete In Virtual Vocal Competition & Auditions
Win First, Second In High School Women & Fourth In High School Men
NOCCA Vocal Music students received top awards at the annual National Association of Teachers of Singing Southern Regional Competition held virtually. NOCCA students Lauren Albano received first place and Arwen Morley-Zender received second place in the High School Women’s category and Henry Herbert received fourth place in the High School Men’s category. The virtual competition was open to high school and college students from Louisiana, Mississippi and Arkansas.
The National Association of Teachers of Singing encourages the highest standards of the vocal art and ethical principles in the teaching of singing; and promotes vocal education and research at all levels, both for the enrichment of the general public and for the professional advancement of the talented.
