NOCCA is proud to announce that Level IV Drama | Haynes Academy for Advanced Studies student, Carol Kim is a recipient of the 2018 Posse Foundation Scholarship.

The Posse Foundation awards students full-tuition scholarships to partner colleges such as Bard University, Case Western Reserve University, Wesleyan University, University of Notre Dame and Tulane University. Students selected for this award are nominated by their high school college counselors, then are evaluated through an interview process. Students must exemplify high academic achievement and leadership capabilities.

In the Fall of 2018, Kim will attend Notre Dame University, majoring in business.

“NOCCA has prepared me to be a more open person,” Carol shared. “NOCCA has taught me leadership skills, and how to work in an ensemble. Haynes definitely prepared me academically, with lots of resources.”

In the coming months, Kim is excited to make connections with her Posse group and prepare for her journey through college.
