Interactive Day With The Wardolf School New Orleans & Homer Plessy Community School
NOCCA Opens Its Doors To Schools With Pop-Up Art Day
NOCCA created an interactive tour and visit of its arts facilities for local schools with its first annual Pop-Up Arts Day. Students from Homer A. Plessy Community School and Waldorf School of New Orleans enjoyed immersive activities in all of NOCCA arts areas: Creative Writing, Culinary Arts, Dance, Media Arts, Classical Instrumental Music, Jazz Instrumental Music, Classical Vocal Music, Drama, Musical Theatre, Theatre Design and Visual Arts.
The Pop-Up Art Day is in support of NOCCA’s outreach efforts to Greater New Orleans area middle schools. For more information about NOCCA or to learn more about its opportunities and application deadline, January 8, visit www.NOCCA.com.

New Orleans Center for Creative Arts is Louisiana’s arts conservatory for high school students. NOCCA offers students from across the state tuition-free arts instruction in Creative Writing, Culinary Arts, Dance, Media Arts (Filmmaking and Audio Production), Music, Theatre Arts, and Visual Arts. Waldorf School of New Orleans serves 169 students ranging in age from Nursery through 8th Grade at two campuses. Our main campus is located at 2539 Columbus St and serves Nursery through Grade Eight.
