TEDYouth is a day-long event for middle and high school students — with live speakers, hands-on activities and great conversations. The event coincides with more than 100 self-organized TEDxYouthDay events happening worldwide over a 48-hour period.
TEDYouth 2013, themed “The Spark,” is moving south this year! It’s happening Saturday, November 16, 2013, at the Civic Theatre in New Orleans, Louisiana.
At TEDYouth, more than 20 scientists, designers, technologists, explorers, artists, performers (and more!) will share short lessons on what they do best. They’ll dazzle us with mind-shifting stories, inspire us with creativity and make us want to dive even deeper into a broad array of topics.
The program is made up of three sessions, plus a lunch break with engaging activities, demos, and a chance to meet the speakers. Attendance is free of charge for 400 middle and high school students from the New Orleans area.
