During a quarterly parent dialogue session with NOCCA’s President | CEO Kyle Wedberg, NOCCA families were asked to share a few words about their experience at the arts high school.

James DuMont | Parent of Sinclair DuMont, 12^th Grade Academic Studio | Drama from New Orleans.

I get emotional reflecting on my daughter’s experience at NOCCA.

Our journey began with NOCCA saying to us, ‘We Got This’. Now, I know that NOCCA has been the catalyst for my daughter’s purpose in this world. NOCCA has changed her and our lives.

She not only has been able to perform, but has expanded her training into directing and dramatic studies. She is well prepared for college and has received numerous scholarships for her academic standing and testing.

I think many people forget or don’t realize the high level of academic instruction here at NOCCA. Yes, it is an art school, but it is also academically very strong. My daughter is able to think outside of the box and is well prepared for any type of college entrance testing and the ACTs because of NOCCA.

I know for my family there is a place for us and there is a place for you at NOCCA. You’re welcomed here.
