Wynton Marsalis made a special, surprise trip to his alma mater, New Orleans Center for Creative Arts, on Monday-October 22, providing a masterclass to music students.

The world renowned trumpeter, composer and music educator provide special insight to NOCCA students on the importance of practice and technique. As a highlight, Wynton listened to students in the jazz and classical instrumental divisions, providing advice and feedback on their performance.
