Jose C. Simbulan (he/him/his) has been on the podium and in the pits of various theatres over the past 35 years. His work as a music director, conductor, pianist, and keyboard player has provided him with the opportunities to work at Barrington Stage Company, Milwaukee Rep, Arena Stage, Arizona Theatre Company, Connecticut Repertory Theatre, The Kennedy Center, Baltimore Center Stage, Ford’s Theatre, Signature Theatre, and Charleston Stage Company; as well as the Broadway productions of Lestat and A Chorus Line, and the national tours of Mamma Mia! and Wicked. He is engaged regularly as an audition pianist for Disney Live Entertainment (Parks and Cruise Line), College Audition Project (CAP) United Auditions, Unified Professional Theatre Auditions (UPTA), and the Southeastern Theatre Conference (SETC) Pro-Div Auditions. In 2019, he was inducted into the SETC Hall of Fame. He is a proud graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University.
